Country West
a new review musical
created by Kaitlyn Semple
Dates TBA
In the late 1980s, Regina was home to a National
Country TV Show! It was called Country West,
and featured a house band of incredible local musicians.
It was a HUGE SUCCESS STORY for this small town tv
station. Everyone was vying for one of these National Spots, and
Regina beat all odds to book it!!
At the time, young Ms Kd Lang was just starting out, and
Steve Glassman, the producer, had to convince the
higher ups that she'd be a good choice. She LIT UP
THE STAGE with her incredible energy and theatrical
performance style. She went on to world wide stardom,
but left an impression on the local artists she worked with.
Stay tuned for more info on creation of this exciting
project!
